What PrayMatch is

PrayMatch is a prayer community run by Jido Lab. People post prayer requests, and other people pray for them and reply in writing or with a recorded voice message. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account: your email address, and your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google. We never see your password when you use Google.

Profile: first name, gender, country, languages, and anything you choose to add such as a bio or your church. Only your first name, country, languages and bio are shown to other people. Your email is never shown.

What you post: prayer requests, updates, written replies and voice recordings. Requests you mark as anonymous show as "Anonymous Christian" to everyone except you.

Safety records: reports you make or that are made about you, blocks, and moderation decisions.

Technical: the time you signed in and basic device information needed to run the service. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

How we use it

To run the service: show requests, deliver replies, play recordings, and send you an email when someone prays for you or replies to you (you can turn these off in Profile).

To keep people safe: review reports, apply the community guidelines, and stop people who have been reported from being paired or shown to the people who reported them.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who can see what

Other signed-in members see your first name, country, languages and bio, and whatever you post on the wall. If you post anonymously, your name and country are hidden on that request.

Voice recordings are stored privately and can only be played by signed-in members through short-lived links.

Our small moderation team can see reports and the content they are about.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) in Singapore, and served through Vercel. Sign-in and notification emails are sent through Resend. Live audio, when that feature is switched on, is carried by LiveKit and is never recorded by us.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, requests, replies and recordings are removed within a day. We keep an anonymised record of reports and moderation decisions for 90 days so that safety rules keep working, then delete it.

Your choices

Edit your profile at any time. Delete any request or reply you posted. Post anonymously. Block anyone. Turn email notifications off.

Delete your account from Profile → Delete account, or email us and we will do it for you.

Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@praymatch.com.

Children

PrayMatch is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
