PrayMatch

I need someone to pray for me.

You typed something into a search box that is hard to say out loud. Maybe it’s late. Maybe the people who would normally pray for you are the ones you can’t talk to about this. You’re in the right place.

Write what you’re carrying. A Christian somewhere in the world reads it, prays for you, and writes back. Some record a short prayer in their own voice, with your name in it. It’s free, and you can stay anonymous.

Is it okay to ask someone to pray for me?

Yes. It’s what the Bible tells us to do. “Pray for one another, that you may be healed.” That’s James 5:16. Paul asked people to pray for him in almost every letter he wrote. Asking for prayer is an act of faith.

You don’t need the right words. You don’t need to explain everything. “I’m scared about Thursday” is enough.

What happens when you ask here

  1. Write it.

A few lines and a topic. Use your first name, or post anonymously.

  2. Someone prays.

Real people read your request and pray. They reply in writing or with a recording in their own voice. You can see who prayed.

  3. Tell us what happened.

Post an update when things change. When a prayer is answered, add a praise so the people who prayed can rejoice with you.

If you can't wait, pray this now

Father, I don’t have the words tonight. You know what I’m carrying before I say it. Hold me. Give me enough peace to get through the next hour, and enough courage to ask someone to pray with me. Amen.

Then come and ask. Someone will pray with you.

Who will be praying for you

Christians from many countries who signed a pledge to pray, keep what you share private, and never give advice you didn’t ask for. First names only. No photos. Anything unkind can be reported and is removed.
